The Suppression Test simply presents two images side by side so that through the mask one image is seen by one eye and the second by the other eye - while the rest of the field is seen binocularly. This provides a quick way of checking for suppression.

However, the test can also be used for binocular balancing - the clarity of the two images is compared and the Rx offered to each eye is adjusted to obtain equality.

The Suppression test is selected by clicking on the corresponding icon on the Secondary Toolbar or by pressing 5 on the keyboard or remote.

This displays a series of images in the two windows in the mask.

The images may be changed using the Vertical Scrollbar in the Control window or by pressing the Vertical Cursor Control keys on the keyboard or remote.
